Our Team
Nat & Don purchased and built their first skoolie in 2018. Living in their beautiful, off-grid skoolie until November 2020, they sold that bus and bought a Mercedes Sprinter to convert. The Sprinter conversion was completed summer of 2021. Since then we have traveled over 30,000 miles adventuring and helping others transform skoolies and vans into beautiful conversions for tiny living and traveling full-time.
A couple of things that set us apart from other skoolie, box-truck, and van conversion companies is that we travel to your location and complete the build on your property or where your vehicle is located.
We are the original creators of the skoolie conversion and van conversion Starry Night Ceilings. You do not have to have a Starry Night ceiling installed into your new skoolie build or van conversion, but why wouldn’t you want one?
We live and travel full-time in a skoolie and van. We know what a full-time nomad needs and wants to live comfortably and efficiently in a tiny house on wheels. We use that knowledge and experience to consult you while planning your new skoolie build and van conversion.

Meet Nat, Don, Kona & Kinzie
Nat has professional and educational degrees in marketing, digital design, and art. Her building design and construction knowledge, art skills, video editing, and marketing genius, are the drive and heart behind Tiny Starry Builds.
You may recognize her as Nat Silver. She has become well known within the Skoolie and Van Life communities for her skoolie and van decal designs.

Don’s background was mainly in corporate management, processes, and procedures, and customer experience. Since breaking away from the 9 to 5 corporate world, he has embraced the freedom of living and traveling full-time as a nomadic entrepreneur.
Kona & Kinzie are the energy and love that keeps everyone motivated and happy.
Kona has been a skoolie dog now for over 5 years. He loves adventures and new smells from all of the exciting places he has traveled.
Kinzie grew up as a van life dog, but her preference is as a skoolie dog. She loves the room a skoolie offers her. She loves playing with other dogs and children!
