How it Works

Our #1 goal at Tiny Starry Builds is to make you, the customer, happy! Designing and building Tiny Homes for our clients IS our favorite thing to do! We believe communication is the key to a successful build and relationship!

Our Build Process is simple, clear, and precise. Making sure we are exceeding the client’s expectations in all facets of the build process is our goal.

Throughout the Build Process, we will be in constant communication to ensure we are not just meeting your expectations, but exceeding them. We will have weekly meetings together to show and explain our progress on your build.

1. You Contact Us

Click the Contact Us link on our website and tell us a little about yourself and what type of conversion you are interested in learning more about.
We will contact you within 1-2 business days.
(We travel full-time between builds, so we may be on the road when you reach out to us)

2. We Call You

Once we have responded to your initial contact request, we will call you to have a brief discussion of your conversion plans and goals. During that initial phone conversation, we will discuss the type of build you are interested in, the type of vehicle you are wanting to convert, your budget, your timeframe, and answer any questions you may have about the process.

3. Schedule Your Consultation

We will schedule a one-hour consultation call to discuss your build in detail.
This is where we talk about all of the minute details of your build as we begin to create a spec sheet for your custom conversion.

4. Send You A Build Quote

This is a summary of our consultation call to ensure we have included everything on your build quote that was discussed. Your build sheet will include everything we discussed in the Build Consultation and will give you a cost analysis of what your conversion is going to cost including parts and labor.

5. Send you A 2-d Rendering of Build

We send you a 2-D rendering of the layout of your build. This gives you an accurate and visual picture of how your build will be laid out and eventually built by us.

6. We RecEIve Your Build Deposit

Pay your deposit to hold your spot on our calendar. A non-refundable deposit of $3,500 will go towards the final cost of your build.

7. We Schedule Your Build Date

This locks you in on our build calendar.

8. We Arrive At Your Location

When your build date finally comes up, we have been en route to your property. Once we arrive, we set up our camp, get to know your property where we will be building your conversion, and get to know one another. The build process will begin the following day with the demolition of your rig’s interior.

9. Your Build Is COmplete

Once we have completed your build, we will test all of the systems in place to ensure everything is working perfectly.
You and we will do an in-depth walk-through of all of the systems and be sure you are familiar and comfortable with how everything works.

10. Delivery of Your Converted Vehicle

Now that the conversion has been completed you take delivery of your newly converted skoolie or van. We pack up and head out to our next build location.
